Earlier today, while pondering this issue, I came up with the idea of a fairly sizable annual collection of, say, 30 or so of this type of adventure, written 100% by "new" authors who query and submit the modules to us. In this case I mean "new" authors who have not yet been assigned a Pathfinder adventure or GameMastery Module. This would be a stand-alone softcover book, most likely. Let's say 150-200 pages long. Anyone think that would be fun?

I'd be game-for buying and submitting.

Does anyone else remember Paul Cockburn's GM Pubs / Gamemaster Publications? Very similar to Pathfinder - one big adventure plus some campagn info. It lasted 4 (maybe 5) issues.

I'm enthusiastic about Pathfinder and will probably buy an online subscription, but I'd like to see a Side Trek and a Critical Threat as well.

I'm also unsure about the price point. Magazines on the racks here tend to top out at £5 / $10. A magazine costing £10 isn't going to get rack space, let alone sales.

Erik is answering questions around the clock. This is insane, and only serves to prove how dedicated you are to us all. Thanks my man!

I think the Annual Adventures Compilation by "new" authors is a brilliant idea. It will be like the Academy Awards of New Adventure Designers. This is a great way for you and everyone at Paizo to keep helping new writers sharpen their skills, and give them an opportunity to break into the business.

I can honestly say I would have never written a word if it weren't for Dungeon magazine, and I definitely wouldn't have stuck with it and learned the love and skills necessary to give the fans a great adventure without the awesome guidance of James Jacobs and Erik Mona. They are the best mentors in the D&D writing biz hands down. A yearly compliation of new authors' adventures would ensure they continue on in this incredibly important role, passing their expertise on to new generations of writers.

And, with Erik and James at the helm, the compilation would no doubt contain the best adventures on the market. Great idea Erik, I hope it goes ahead.

Do you get Dungeon/Dragon at APO addresses? Cause if so, then I'd say it will probably happen.

I think they ship to APO's but I have been getting them at my house rather than an APO. But since I will be taking a one year trip to some very angry beach front property, I won't be able to get them at my house.

Regards,
Walt
