Pathfinder 1E PATHFINDER: A First Look

Kroh,

I imagine then they'll probably ship to the APO and might hold them there IF You tell said people to hold them for you.

Do you get Dungeon/Dragon at APO addresses? Cause if so, then I'd say it will probably happen.

God I hope so! I just transferred my credit over for a Pathfinder subscription. As it stands, they already ship Dragon and Dungeon to APO, and will offer various shipping methods based on your address. I can't imagine USPS NOT being one of those options.

Chuck,

I'm pretty sure that will remain the case. Based on the fact Erik and the boys have mentioned they are keeping the same distribution network.

Hmmm. I'd be tempted. The quality seems to be there, but it seems to be a little more focused on a specific campaign/campaign world than I'd like, and that's a downer. If the non-adventure 50% of the magazine was more general D&D articles and less campaign-specific stuff, I'd be sold, but the fairly strict focus plus the pricetag makes it unlikely. I'll probably pick up issue 1 in the shop to have a look and give it a chance, but judging from what we've seen so far I don't think Pathfinder will really be my cup of tea, sadly. A little more Dragon and a little less Dungeon would make me a lot happier.

Funnily enough, I never subscribed to Dungeon or Dragon (I considered it many times, but never quite got around to it), but the way WotC took them out behind the woodshed and gave them both a bullet really has me steamed, so I'm looking for a way to get my own back, and giving my RPG money to the people who they did their damndest to put out of business seems to be as good an option for petty unnoticed revenge as any...

Humble,

If it helps, you can probably get it cheap via Amazon. ;)

That said, give Necromancer Games your money. They'll help put WotC out on their butt. :p :)

Well since I just recently extended my subscription to both Dragon and Dungeon mags (like last month) I've converted to remaining subscription Pathfinder and will end up with almost the entire first adventure path run.

I applaud Erik and company and since they have taken real charge of Dragon and Dungeon mags the quality and content has drastically improved. So consider this support of past (and hopefully future) work.

They have, Erik especially, been very supportive of customers (us) requests for information and has frequently been posting on these (and other) boards in attempt to keep the lines open.

How many remember his requests for feedback threads in the past?

I hope this works well for Paizo and those who work there - they deserve some respect and thanks, IMO.

Ir,

Agreed. Customer service should be rewarded, not denigrated. :p And Erik and Co are the best corp customer execs around for gaming.

Years of editing and publishing has given Erik Mona a +23 in Diplomacy, I see. :p

That explains it! I'm actually convinced to subscribe to a $20 per month (minus 30%, plus shipping) book!

At first I thought I would just get the first few issues with my subscription credit, but at this point I think I am all in. Nice work, Paizo!

The quality of Dungeon since Paizo took over the reins has made me a Paizo fan/supporter for life - I've already switched my Dungeon subscription to Pathfinder.

Just one quick question for James or Erik - how easy will it be to drop Pathfinder APs into other settings (like Greyhawk or the Forgotten Realms for example)?
