So, I'm a huge fan of what I've seen of 5e so far. I'm also a huge fan of Paizo, especially their modules, adventures, campaign world, and organized play. I'm sure Wizards will want to catch up with Paizo in those category as time goes by, but for now we've got a great game system with 5e (in my opinion) and a ton of material for DMs with Golarion, APs, modules and PFS scenarios.
So I started a project to convert GM material for use with 5e characters. If anyone wants to help, let me know. I'm starting with Burnt Offerings.
At lower levels, it's pretty easy to substitute direct equivalents. The hardest part has been trying to match character XP progression and with no or little info out about traps in 5e, we'll have to make it up until the DMG comes out in November.
Anyone want to lend a hand? I can make you an author on the site. Keep in mind, there's not a lot going on there right now. Just basically conversion notes for Burnt Offerings.
What I think I'd like help with, and people who are proficient with both PF and 5e will be able to do easily are monster conversions when there are no direct equivalents. Right now my current sources are DM Basic Rules, Lost Mines of Phandelver, Hoard of the Dragon Queen Web Supplement, and Monster Manual Table of Contents*.
* If the monster is listed in MM table of contents, I think we can just wait until it has been released to decide if modifications are needed.
