Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder on Amazon?

I was just updating my wishlist on Amazon and I noticed nothing from Paizo seems to be sold directly through them anymore, just through their third-company used copy options. Anybody know if this is temporary or if there was a paizo/amazon contract fall out and this is the way it is from now on?

It's all RPGs, or nearly all if not. So, nothing to do with Paizo, per se.

I think someone was talking about comics too, so could be whoever supplies Amazon with such stuff has gone awry in some way or other.

Some more searching showed WotC and White Wolf still being sold directly but not Fantasy Flight Games or Green Ronin.

Too bad.

Oh, my mistake then. I just assumed it was the same problem that's been rife at Amazon the last. . . day or two (?)

Still could be many RPGs, but not all, I suppose. I'll do some checking.

edit --- yep, still quite a few, so it could be as I said.

It is all products supplied to them by Diamand distribution, which includes most of their RPGs and comic books. There was an error somewhere with those products that was causing them to list at very very low prices, so to respons, Amazon de-listed all the products.

WotC has the option of stores buying dirrectly from them, and I imagine White Wolf does as well. So that would be why those products were not affected. Paizo doesn't have a dirrect distribution option.

I purchased the PF core rulebook and MM through Amazon not three days ago (it shipped this morning). Both books were sold by Amazon, not third-party affiliates. I did, however, notice yesterday while checking out the order in my Amazon account that in the day or two since ordering, both books were now sold only through affiliates.

So, the changeover is very (very) recent.

As Perram mentioned in the post immediately above this one, I got some absolutely incredible deals on the two books.

How much were they?

Yeah, I was on amazon on Sunday and they were offering the Gamemastery Guide, and Advanced Player Guide at a pre-order price of $14.99 (with a preorder guarantee no less!). The Bestiary was also available for $14.99.

Since this could obviously impact sales at Paizo, I tried to alert Paizo customer service, but all I got back was a form-type letter about how they have no control over amazon prices. (Which, of course, I already knew, but I wanted to warn them that something out of the ordinary was happening.)

The price was back to normal in a few hours, but when I last looked it was as if amazon was no longer selling Paizo products.
