Pathfinder: The Dragon's Demand Reveals New Trailer, Kickstarter Launching Soon

Paizo and Ossian Studios has revealed a new trailer for the upcoming Pathfinder: The Dragon's Demand video game, with a Kickstarter set to launch soon. The new game is a CRPG-style game that uses a tabletop miniatures-style and the Pathfinder 2E ruleset. The story is an adaptation of the 2013 adventure The Dragon's Demand, a 1st-7th level adventure set in Taldor that features heroes facing a new Dragon Tyrant. While the game uses digital miniatures, it also features various visual effects, dynamic weather, and adaptive poses not really feasible with a tabletop setting. The game will also feature an expanded storyline, new side quests and a new "personal storyline" for player characters.

The Kickstarter will feature "authentic minted precious metal City of Absalom coins and 3D printable STL mini files" among other rewards, per the press release announcing the pending campaign.

Ossian Studios is an independent studio based out of Vancouver, CA. They've previously developed several well-received Neverwinter Nights modules.

Well, as I became an official supporter when they updated to include a GoG release, I hope they get the game finished, and after that hope that they actually DO release it for us GoG players.

The pledge manager allows you to select Steam or GOG for which license you will want. It does note only Steam users will be able to participate in the beta.
