I tried not to change mechanics of the classes too much. Mostly just tried adding things to fill up dead levels. Bonus feats were/are a common addition, with the type relating to the class somehow (dragon shamans & dragonfire adepts get draconic feats, marshals get tactical feats, etc.).I've made what I consider significant changes to how the Dragon Shaman works in my document. The most significant change relates to how the Touch of Vitality now works, in that I made it more like the Paladin's Lay On Hands ability in PF.
I thought of adding a domain too, as well as bloodline abilities, but felt that was too much. Decided to go with bloodline abilities. :shrugs:Would the Favored Soul gain any fans, I wonder, if a single domain choice to the class were added, perhaps at half power? Just throwing crap at the wall here...
Was it the version with invocations in lieu of spells?I've been playing with the Hexblade as well; I posted the file in another thread. I'd be interested in comparing notes.

Did it! Made my first draft of Pathfinderised PC-worthy Artistocrat class.
I've taken rgard's suggestion about paths to heart and although most of the Patrician's progression is fairly standard (but I think allowing for variance between players) your Heritage Path determines bonus skill, bonus combat style feats and special abilities you gain at 1st, 3rd and 20th level.

(Sorry for the delay in responding.)No, what I did was to give hexblades a series of curse talents and arcane talents as they progress in levels, which they can choose from a list, similar the way they did rogue talents (or whatever they're called, I don't have the book in front of me) in PF.
Just remember that one of the ideas behind Pathfinder was to bring the original core classes up to par with the prestige and later core classes. Since they're now balanced, there really shouldn't be a reason to give the other core classes a bump in power - just adjust the skills to that they match and call it good.
Of course this is all theoretical. My group decided not to pull in any of the later core classes and are instead getting reacquainted with the PHB core classes.
