Paul Hughes from Blog of Holding has joined MCDM full time. No stranger to working with MCDM and on MCDM projects he introduces himself with a post on their patreon charting MCDMs future course.

Hi! Paul Hughes here, the brand-newest member of the core Draw Steel design team. Wait, MCDM has a new developer? That’s your crowdfunder dollars at work! Whenever Matt & Co. run a successful crowdfund campaign, they go and sink all that crowdfunding money right back into MCDM. Bigger crowdfunder numbers means bigger art budgets, more ambitious projects, and more employees (like me!) dreaming up more cool stuff, in an uncontrolled and frankly dangerous positive feedback loop. At this rate, astronomers fear that all of the atoms in the known universe will be converted into MCDM employees or products by the year 2250.
Although I’m technically a new employee, I’m not new to MCDM. I’ve been working on MCDM products since Flee, Mortals. I worked on the core Draw Steel books, and I’m the designer for two of the products in the Crack the Sun crowdfunder: Beastheart and The Condemned (both of which you’ll see sooner rather than later). I’ll also be helping out with various upcoming MCDM projects. Exactly what are those projects? That’s what this post is about!

Every quarter, the far-flung MCDM team gets together for a week-long, in-person meeting to kick around product ideas, play games, and eat a lot of Mexican food together (not necessarily in that order of importance). This month, I came out for the first three days. I’m aquiver to tell you about them. I hope you like meeting minutes!
