That may be true in general, however, in the Astral it's not that big of a barrier. You'll be fine if you can make the Tumble checks with the penalty for unfamiliarity with flight. Incidentally, flight in the Astral is at a speed of 10xInt score.
Now that would look cool, disarming all the giths on one go thanks to a speed of 140ft.

figured as much, Brystasia is at an extreme disadvantage while on this plane then.

Not that extreme; Insanity works just fine, and, because attackers will be at more varied angles, Flame Strike and Holy Word are more effective than normal. Plus, of course, you can quicken spells without either the feat or any level increase.

Stupid question time.... :D

What if you already had wings? would you movement be different or would you move at 10xINT no matter what?

If it that anyone want to take a stab at the air speed velocity of an unladen shallow? Or maybe a red dragon as the case maybe...

What age group do the red dragons appear to be?

10xInt is the only way to move; creatures without Int are stationary unless dragged.

The dragons' ages are a mystery to you.

A really old dragon would be too arrogant to allow a Gith to ride it, or to worik with other Red Dragons.

I was kind of surprised that we avoided combat with the Dragons and Gith.

Even if our Epic Paladin didn't recognize the Gith, I thought he'd recognize Red Dragons as a naturaly enemy.

My character isn't really familiar with Red Dragons or Gith, but he generally feels that all serpentine monsters should be slain (he's had bad experiences with serpents in the past). On the other hand, my character is feeling kind of lost at the moment, so he is kind of going along with the flow for the moment.

At your skill levels, it's usually going to be possible to avoid armed conflict if those with high Diplomacy scores give it a shot. It's only when your goals involve serious harm, usually bodily, for someone else that killing begins.

Ditto, I figured we where screwed as soon as we showed we had that kind of coinage on us...

I can't dress the other but my "paladin" is more like Sune herself than a normal paladin is, though she would protect the weak and innocent and is just as incline protect the beauty of the dragon if it's not being destructive. Sounds very chaotic I know but if you look at my powers I smite Law and not evil, etc.

I hope that explains my actions. :)

PS the board is back up.

Edit: As PA demonstrated above for us . :)

I'm not playing the stereotypical paladin that attacks all that is evil. Being evil does not equal a death sentence. Attacking them unprovoked could have been constued as evil.

Now that we are here is there anything anyone wants to do before going in? any strategy on how to enter?
