The Ring of Force Shield is definitely a magical enchantment; that has the benefits of A) no armor check penalty and B) blocking incorporeal touch attacks. It doesn't take up a shield slot, but a ring slot.

PA works for me, but I don't see anyone using that hand to do much of anything else... I don't see two handed fighting or someone doubling and using two shields in that one hand.

Thematically it's kind of odd, but that's what the rules dictate. Most likely, it would be a second weapon, or a device like a rod or wand.

So someone could use two weapons with it? Which I guess isn't much of overkill as someone could do much of the same thing with a shield of dancing.

2) I can argue with you on this I have a character that has a curse in another game and their are at least 4 clearics of high enough level to remove it but circumstance hates me. (serpenteye if you look closesly you will see that I can remove my own curses now! )

I will point out that all four of those clerics in the other game are "evil spellcasters that worship the Chaotic Evil powers of the Abyss" and evil spellcasters are not known for going around and healing people.

I will also point out that I've seen lots of cure spells from them when it comes to their own family... If anything it's the fact that I'm a poor and unloved bugbear and not a drow.
