As I've mentioned (http://www.enworld.org/forum/genera...at-online-tools-should-i-build-round-two.html), I'm part of a team that's building a 4e-focused tool. Thanks to your suggestions, we've settled on creating a tool for facilitating play-by-post/play-by-email games. The tool will have:
- a virtual battlemap that you can embed in forum posts
- dice roller
- action log
So, when it's your turn, you'll log in, move your token on the map, roll some dice, and log out. Everything you did will be securely recorded for other people to see, and you can embed the battlemat in your forum posts on ENWorld or elsewhere. The tool will require a modest subscription (details to be determined).
We're looking for beta testers for this tool. We're not ready for beta yet, but we're moving quickly and want to have testers lined up. If you're interested, please reply to this thread and we'll contact you in the next few weeks.
Finally--we're a small team with a small budget. Adjust your expectations accordingly.
