PC Gen and other Questions

First Post
First off, I have the latest build for PC Gen, I am wondering about the following, If I want my character to have a +3 Keen, Speed shortsword, can I have this added to his equipement and have its effects felt in the printout (ie the doubled crit threat range)?

Secondly, I am kicking around the idea of writing up a few prestige classes, and one of the guys in my local gaming group says there is a point based Prestige Class creation system out there somewhre, could someone tell me where that is? Posting Here or emailing me will work. Thanks.

Also, as for PC Gen - yes you can. or you certainly could before the recent upheaval took place. I can't see any reason this functionality would have been removed.

As a more verbose repsonse: To get a +3 Keen speed shortsword you need to find a standard shortsword in the inventory list. Select it and then press Alt-C or right-click on your mouse. and select customise.
Add Masterwork, then +3, then keen and speeed. It must be masterwork to be magiced (+3) and magiced to be keen, speed.

As to the PrC creator - a long time ago, on the EricNoah board someone did a study of class construction and came up with rules and weightings for save bonuses, BAB progression, spell casting ,special abilities, etc. The creator used this to rate the core classes and it was robust enough to 'cerate' balanced classes with. Whether you can find it on the Black Pages or not still I do not know.

Are you referring to the Class Construction Engine? I have a copy of it still. It says its OGC, but I read somewhere (don't know where, so don't know how valid the comment is) that it was based off old AD&D 2e stuff, and, therefore, is not truly OGC.
