thats not exactly true.

most elves take -con.

All except wild elves, which get -2 int instead.

and i don't their is are any la0 elves that get a +wisdom.

No. The only elves that get a wis bonus are avariel. And they kick in at +3 LA.

So you get no con bonus (the best you can hope for is no con penalty), no subrace for strength alone (wood elves - which aren't just from the Realms - get str and dex for con and int), and have to pay dearly for wis.

Not that there are that many more subraces in the FR than in standard D&D.

In fact, the Realms have lots of subraces of other races, so the difference isn't nearly as high there.
