If you have some money, go to a mob contact and ask if the mob can / will get your friend out of jail via legal maneuvers, bribes, &c. Offer to pay all reasonable expenses.

Depending on how tight the mob boss is with the legal establishment(how much does he pay?), the fighter's life may be measured in hours if not minutes. The barbarian should be in the clear as he left before the excitement started. Use a disguise spell,hire a street urchin to inform the barbarian to meet you out of town somewhere to make further plans. The two eaten characters are probably beyond raising short of wish spells.

I would be surprised if the jail doesn't have some sort of anti-magic protections.
