PDF products I'd like to see

You know Gareth, at the risk of praising you too much, between what you just said, FVLMINATA d20 coming out soon, and GLORIANA, I may have little choice but to proclaim your absolute kickassness loud and clear for all to hear and make a special entry into the household budget for these Adamant products. :)

At least one of us is on the ball.:D
Too bad it's not me.

I have unfortunately been buried under an avalanch of work that hit almost literally the moment I decided to go ahead with the Galleon plans. I don't forsee getting dug out until probably mid October.

I'm still planning to do it. It's already started after all, and I believe the early galleon I'm doing should fall in a bit earlier than the pirate era stuff that Gareth is most likely concentrating on. If I start there and work my way back in time, maybe we won't be competing (I hope). And if we are, well... I guess we'll have to worry about that when we get there.

We need two more things on the market--

1. A book of mechanical devices and technology from different eras of history, covering things like chariots, waterwheels, printing presses, and (of course) mechanical traps.

2. A book of myths and legends featuring blow-by-blow descriptions of mythical events in game terms. Stat out famous battles, legendary heroes, and treasures, from the Tain Bo Cuailgne and Epic of Gilgamesh, to Excalibur and Aaron's Rod.

I'd like to see some kind of accessory geared toward helping the DM (GM) keep track of time during play. That's what I have the most trouble with while DMing.

I've put together my own little ticker/counter sheets, but I'm sure someone can come up with something better...something clever.

Have you seen the Initiative Cards from The Game Mechanics? Might not be exactly what you're looking for, but somewhere to start.

Cheers
Nell.

Thanks for the tip! I had not heard about them at all. I just searched over at rpgnow...wow, they are free to boot!

You just made my day. Thanks :)

How about a list (and description) of special attacks and qualities for monsters? There is a ton of OGC material out there for a pdf like this.

Not a wholly comprehensive one, though I've considered it. The best ones that I'm aware of are both in the SRD - look for the files "AbilitiesandConditions" and "TypesSubtypesAbilities".

I can't say how happy I am that the "extra" stuff from the Monster Manual was added to the SRD, like those files and "Improving_Monsters".

Cheers

But I don't want the ones from the SRD. I want the ones from the Creature Collections, Tome of Horrors, Complete Minions, the Kalamar books, the Oathbound books, the Midnight books, etc.

I want a list where I can go through it and get ideas for using the qualities while not being biased by the creature they originally were meant for.

I don't think you'll get KoK -- aren't they still paying for a licenses from WotC, and thus under no requirement to issue OGC?

Yeah, I got that, and I agree, it'd be incredibly cool. I just wanted to make sure you weren't missing what -was- available.

Cheers,
Nell.
