Peeping Tom Problems: How do you protect yourself?

I'm looking for ways to completely protect myself from unwanted scrying. The world setting has a magical version of reality TV, complete with sponsored "adventures" that hack for more than the random treasure and xp. Our group does NOT want the world at large to know our powers and a standard Amulet of Proof Against Detection and Location isn't enough. Especially with spells like Discern Location.

One idea was to create a magic item that would cast mind blank and screen once a day. The screen would be set to not show any person, item or effect caused by or reacted with the party. Would this work? And is there any other magic items or spells that will help protect myself and my party?

Well, Mind Blank and False Vision are the only spells that come to mind, personally. So get an item that produces Mind Blank 1/day for each of you, and just 1 item (or 2 items, if your group spread out a lot) that produces False Vision 2/day (it creates an emanation, so it covers an area against scrying; but it only lasts 1 hour per level, so you'd usually need 2 castings of 12+ hours each to guard yourself constantly against scrying).

Then talk with the DM. See if you can make an argument for those spells to be removed or reduced for the style of game you want to play.

There's some magical material mined in the underdark that makes scrying agianst you harder called urdrukar. Can't remember for the life of me where it's talked abut though :/ Might be a 3e thing.

Mind blank is probably your best bet... but a magic item that does that is going to be VERY expensive...

Psionic power mind blank, personal might be a better base for your 1/day item. It's lower level than regular mind blank.
