Eh. I like kobolds myself. Shocker lizards, too...Bugbears, I dunno. Magmin look positively disturbing in the MM3e, thuogh...squeezin' out a log of somethin' sulfurous...

Me too. I think Kobolds are adorable...

When I painted up my WotC kobold minis, I thought LE critters should be very formal, so I put them all in the same black uniforms. I was so proud of the job I'd done, I rushed them over to my FLGS to show off. Everyone had the same opinion. CUTE! It was the eyes! I'd outlined their eyes in black, subconciously influenced by Eddie Izzard! So now I have a unit of executive transvestite kobolds!

Oh I definately ooohed and ahhhed over the blink dog for a time when I first saw it. And the giant owl too. And virtually all of the scaly, reptilian things...
