My old therapists name was Dr. Baka and, I believe that baka (or however you would spell it in english) is Japanese for "crazy."

More worrisome than 'crazy,' actually. 'Baka' is Japanese for 'idiot.' It's about the most common rude insult used in anime, and it can also imply '*sshole'

My mom (a nurse) knew a doctor named Bonebreak.

And of course my real name, before I had it legally changed, was Bookreader Libraryinchargeguy McMiddleschoolteacher. You can see why I changed it.
:uhoh: Egad! ROFL!

I know a paediatrician called Dr Needle.

I had a biology teacher called Mr Branch.

The senior curator at the Wallace Collection, which has one of Europe's foremost exhibits of edged weapons, is called Mr Edge.

A bit OT but...

There used to be a doctor's surgery in a small town in Scotland but it closed because too few people wanted to be treated there. Not surprising, really, as the surgery was called after the town: Kilmany.

New Scientist magazine had a lot of letters about this nominativistic determinism - I'll dig up some of the better responses and post them.
