Perform check question

Let's say I achieve a DC 40+ on my perform roll. Is that, like, "instant classic?" I can only find descriptions up to DC 30 ("Extraordinary performance. In a prosperous city, you can earn 3d6 gp/day. In time, you may draw attention from distant potential patrons, or even from extraplanar beings.").

Thanks! :)

I'd say that could qualify. But i'd make a distinction detween an instant classic and something that would be classic a bit in the future. I think "classic" would have a different meaning than how it is used today.

Ask the DM (if that is not you) about what higher DCs give you.

At what stage do other bards start copying your original material?
At what stage do kings, queens, tyrants, BBEG's, the various churches take notice and ask (or demand) your services to promote themselves or as patrons?

It kinda becomes a house rule at this point (in that there are no direct rules to follow so that you need to "make them up").
