When you use certain spells, you can extend them to your familiar. Can I cast one of those spells, extend it to my familar, and then cast permanency so it is on both of us always? Not sure if the rules speak to this or not.
Yes, your familiar can benefit from permanency at the same time as you via the share spells ability. However it will lose the permanent spell when it moves more than 5 feet away as normal, permanency does not affect this.
