PF Bestiary - change of date!

Ack, I got the Amazon:"your order has been delayed..." email. Oh well, that's the price I pay for buying from Amazon I guess. I can always hope to get it sooner than mid-November.

I understand the Amazon discount, I buy a LOT from Amazon, but how could you not want a free PDF of a monster manual?

Do you always have the book at the table, with the various monsters some how book marked?

Personally I like to print out the monsters as I use them, and keep them in a folder. Then, as I use more and more monsters, I eventually have them all printed out and in a folder, so I can pull them out for the encounters planned that night.

Anyways, just curious as to why you would find the Amazon discount and free shipping more appealing than a free PDF copy?

Maybe betting it will be $10 too? If so, I will be a bit upset I did not save myself as much money as possible, but we will soon see on that front.

Yeah, part of it is trying to save some money. As for the PDF, I usually tweak monsters for adventures and...gasp...I sometimes hand write the stats! (I know, how barbaric!)

I do print alot of the stats out though, and thankfully the bestiary's critters will be in the PSRD in case the PDF ends up being too costly. :)

Oh yeah! I keep forgetting about the PFSRD! Still, it won't have the pretty pictures!

Even so I don't print out the pictures, just the text. I still hold up the books for the pictures.

Yes....the illustrations make me drool!

Everyone that I've shown Core Rulebook to is blown away by the art. I can't wait to see the full Bestiary.

Cool, I had not heard that the bestiary stats will be included in the PSRD. That make adventure creation way easier on my part - copy and pasting stats (and them tweaking them) is my preferred method to write/alter adventures.

I like the PDF's for another reason entirely. I mean being able to cut and paste and modify from the PDF's for adventures is great but I'm also able to extract the images from the PDF so that I can print them and show my players exactly what it is they're facing.

Anyone know if that's when the bestiary will go into the PRD? (It is going into the PRD, right?) It'll be very useful to have an html reference for that...
