It depends on your Hunter's Edge. That's correct if your edge is either Precision or Outwit. An agile weapon will bring that down to -4 on the second attack and -8 on the third attack.

If your Edge is Flurry your second attack is -3, and your third and subsequent attacks is -6. An agile weapon brings that down to -2 on your second attack, and -4 on third and subsequent attacks. This is only the case against your hunted prey, but Twin Takedown only works against your hunted prey anyway.

To expand on Camp's reply, if you're equipping your Ranger with two melee weapons you gain a lot by taking Flurry as your Hunter's Edge.

The whole point and value of Twin Takedown lies - not in you getting two attacks for a single action - but you getting to make more than two attacks on your round. Two attacks is in itself not particularly noteworthy (even though saving an action isn't nothing). Three or more attacks is noteworthy - except attacks at -10 aren't. So I recommend that you either skip Twin Takedown or make the most of it.

Barbarians have massive damage, fighters have accuracy. What Rangers have, or can have, is loads of attacks - and for that to be valuable you need to minimize your MAP.

Making the most of Twin Takedown means taking Flurry as your Hunter's Edge, wielding two agile weapons (the extra keywords of a Scimitar over, say, a Shortsword isn't worth the higher MAP), and making sure to do three attacks (and more as you level up) at -0, -2, -4, -4, -4... something the Fighters and Barbarians can only dream of! :)

Why two agile weapons? Isn't one of the weapons (the one you use for the second and subsequent attacks) being agile sufficient?

If you don't have 2 agile weapons, but just one, all you have to do is use the non-agile weapon for the first strike, then the agile one for all subsequent strikes. Nothing requires you to alternate.
