PH1: The Darque Demense (Bront judging)

stonegod

Spawn of Khyber/LEB Judge
"I am not one of them," Xir responds to Elthic, clearly unhappy with the comparison to humans.

"Let us look in this chest for what we came for."
And he does.

"That'd be too easy. Well, my friend, let's keep moving."

Elthic will move towards the door at 10-C - seems like the next place to go.

Moving past the insubstantial Mage and Hound, the three make their way down the hall to the remaining door. Elthic looks but finds no traps on the door, and it appears to be unlocked to the dwarf. The Xeph Soulknife twists the knob and opens the door to see an ordinary bedroom with a bed against the far wall covered in a purple blanket. Eleria's elven eyes also spot a desk and chair to the left and a closed chest on the wall to the right.

"There is no closet. There is a chest, though. And a desk too; but judging by this place so far, I bet they are loaded with poisoned traps!"

Eleria makes her way into the room and searches the area around the desk and chest, specifically for traps or secret compartments. She'll then take a look at the bed to see if there is anything of interest.

In a surprising twist, there seem to be no traps on anything within the room! In fact, the desk and even the chest are unlocked. In the chest, Elthic finds an assortment of robes and other clothes including undergarments. All the clothes appear to be fitted for a normal size human male frame.

Eleria examines the area closely and finds writing implements within the desk. A sheaf of blank parchments and a quill and bottle of ink along with other minor trash and bric a brac scattered in the back of the drawers.

The bed is a very sturdy and well made piece of furniture with a decent bedspread and pillows. Nothing special, but still rather nicer than the Red Dragon Inn has on it's beds.
