Check out this awesome 3D terrain model of the Redbrand hideout from the D&D 5th Edition Starter Set's Lost Mine of Phandelver. "3 Weeks ago I finally made the switch from decades of 2nd edition to 5th edition. My group is all old friend who haven't played in 20+ years with the exception of one who has been in my 2E group all along. I decided since we are all learning 5E we would start with Lost Mine of Phandelver. I love to use terrain and 3D print most of my stuff so when I started my group 3 weeks ago I got to work printing tiles for Redbrand Hideout. Tonight the party will be entering the hideout and I managed to just get it finished about an hour ago. Still have some final painting to do on the tiles but they are good enough for table play. Enjoy."

That's a LOT of work for a few quick encounters. :) I could understand the miniature terrain better in 3e, 4e or Pathfinder, but 5e really shines with theatre of the mind.

Nice terrain though - very nice, in fact!
