PirateCat, It would be fun to see a running total of donations. Maybe someone could run some numbers to find out about how much the trip would cost so we have a goal to work toward.

Over Christmas, my favorite forum (www.mma.tv) raised over $5,000 in paypal donations for "PeeWee" McCall who recently lost his wife and is struggling to raise 5 kids. I think we helped give the kids the best possible christmas under the circumstances.

Soneone asked, so here's the general rule of thumb: give what you think is appropriate, if you want to. If you're really short on cash, this shouldn't supercede feeding your kids! Likewise, if you have gotten lots of use out of this site and want to say thank you to Morrus, I think that's wonderful.

In the mean time, an alternative method is to bump it on a regular basis . Hey, maybe we could make that the hivemind's pet project for the next few weeks? Make sure this thread stays on page one?
