Pick Pockets: best uses ever?

Any good anecdotes about this skill?

I'm trying to think up what kind of broad array of things can be done with picking pockets. I know slight of hand, I know picking pockets, smuggling small items... and that's what I can think of. I mean, what sorts of things can one do with it? Is there some way to use the ability that I'm not thinking of?

Let's see:

  • Planting evidence in someone's pocket
  • Putting a delayed blast fireball in someone's backpack
  • Lift up the BBEG's sword enough to put sovereign glue in the scabbard
  • Replacing a magic wand in a wizard's pocket with a fake or booby trapped one.
  • Planting a tracking fetish on someone

How's that for a start?

Shifting of papers or items, great card trick but in a game where ID are used is very useful. This can also be of use in brides and drop off.
Message drops, just passing message from one agent to another on a crowded street.

Based on the concept that Pick Pockets is Sleight of Hand (not getting caught is implied in all of these):

palming something off a table
pulling a quarter out of a kid's ear
taking somebody's watch off their wrist while you talk to them
making a smallish object disappear (knife? what knife? I don't have a knife officer)
planting evidence on somebody's person
hiding and retrieving cards up a sleeve in a poker game
