Saltmarsh! Woo-hoo!

PS: But my first choice would actually be Hollowfaust, precisely because it's not generic, yet is clearly on the borderlands.

Hollowfaust, from Scarred Lands?

1) Duuuuuude. I love that city. :D

2) Could WotC get away with posting Hollowfaust if it was in a 3rd Party book?

Or am I just totally weak at D&D history fu?

I notice that there's no option for not including a town at all. Hmmm....

The way I figure it, you can publish a town as a module or something. I'd rather not have a module in my DMG, when it could be filled with more stuff on world building, adventure creation, villain creation, and other, more widely applicable, material.

But I realize that this is only my opinion.

Hope it helps,
Flynn

hehe..Fairhill is a fun little town for sure. Necro's version of Hommlet, but I wouldn't vote for it simply cos its 3rd party, and not a town that WOTC could actually re-visit.

Oh and FYI/nitpick: OakHURST is the town from The Sunless Citadel.

I'd like to see Saltmarsh personally (as I never bought the DMG II) or The Keep.

It was a toss-up between Hommlet and Oakvale. Both have been the sites of some of my favourite gaming memories. However, Oakvale is on the small side, and Hommlet has more going for it in terms of local adventure sites.
