Thanks for the compliments, all! I'm sooo pleased with my very first tattoo, I'm already planning ahead for the next one. I'll probably be starting another "Look at me!" thread in a couple of months - possibly with Morgan Ironwolf this time around...

Mean Eyed Cat, I had it done at Optic Nerve Arts by a tattooist named D'Lacie. I took a few pieces in that I was trying to narrow it down to (although I WAS already pretty sold on Warduke), and she gave me input on which ones she thought would translate best. She had it done a good bit faster than she estimated initially, and the quality was even better than I had hoped for - I'll definitely be seeing her for my next tattoo.

Just for my own curiosity, it he supposed to be left, right or ambi? The sword is in the left in one pic, and in the right in the other... and I seem to recall there being some question of this before with the WoTC mini of him.

The tattoo is really nice, I guess. I am not a fan of them, but if I were to get one, that's a pretty good one to get. It looks very similar to the picture from the books. I would have no trouble recognizing who it was if I saw it on you.

Thanks. It looks like Optic Nerve is a newer place up on Alberta. I'll have to check them out next time I'm in town.

Well, in the original art, the sword is actually in his left hand. However, when we were "test-fitting" the picture on my leg before starting the tattoo, it just looked unbalanced with the sword going over onto my shin. Finally we just mirrored the art, and it looked a lot more balanced that way. Other than that, though, it's pretty much dead-on from the original art.
