Politically Incorrect Games (PIG) is pleased to announce the Expanded Edition of Iron Gauntlets(tm): Heroic Fantasy Roleplaing. Designed with dynamic, easy to learn rules, Iron Gauntlets is perfect for experienced roleplayers looking for flexibility or as an introduction to novice gamers by an experienced gamemaster. No spell lists mean you don't have to flip through pages to find out what a spell does. And not all magic is the same -- crafting-based magic uses various effects which can be combined to create new effects; divinity-based magic relies mostly on faith, or in this case, the director (gamemaster); totem magic relies on a character's spirit guide to assist him; and essence is a character's own inner power, giving him the ability to achieve prowess and might greater than others.
Coming in September, the new edition of Iron Gauntlets will be published in both PDF and softcover versions, and available directly from PIG, online retailers, and your local game shops (softcover only). Distributors and retailers can order it from our consolidator, Key 20 Direct ( http://www.key20.com ) when available.
The PDF version (a free upgrade for existing customers) includes 4 different types of magic; 2 new player races; new skills, styles, backgrounds, vocations, gimmicks, and creatures; new rules and options, and optional diceless and 2d6 playability with our Active Exploits Diceless(tm) and genreDiversion(tm) i rules respectively.
The Expanded Softcover version includes all the features noted above for the PDF, plus a complete setting, ready-to-use adventures, and notes for converting your old, clunky OGL characters to Iron Gauntlets.
Iron Gauntlets is already supported with a multitude of PDF-based products. If you like to use miniatures, our Disposable Heroes(tm) paper minis can be customized - download in color or BW, armies, with labels or numbers, and always come back for more. A number of adventures published by our friends at Spider Dreams and 0one Games are also available, as well as the Unorthodox series of alternate vocational paths. Plus the extra material in the softcover is available separately to complement the PDF version.
