Pimp a good PDF Adventure

Eosin, would you be interested in a low-magic, Grim Tales adventure?

I'd be happy to send you the "almost-ready-for-publication" PDF I have of "The Seven Saxons," which I ran at ENworld Gameday Boston, if you would be willing to post a review of it afterwards.

Wulf

Wulf, if it could easily be made a no magic adventure (or at least, no PC accessible magic) with minimal modification I would be more than happy to run and review it - especially if it comes with pre-gen characters.

I've got some people I'm itching to introduce to Grim Tales, but I'm insanely low on free time at the moment, and a couple of the people involved prefer their RPGs magic free.

Sounds like it is exactly what I am looking for - and - I have zero problems doing a review. I do some here and at RPG.net for a variety of companies but mainly Hero Games.

Eosin_the_red@cox.net will hit my mailbox.

Thanks Wulf

Monte Cook's Temple of Mysteries. It's only $5 and was designed to be a one-shot. Let's see if it fits your criteria.

Product: PDF, preferably intended as a PDF to boot

Check.

Mid-Level Range: 3rd-7th

Check. It comes with pre-gen'ed 4th-level characters.

Playtime: 3-6 hours

Check.

Setting: I dislike wildly powerful magic and characters or stories that henge on them.

Well it doesn't really have any "wildly powerful magic" but it does center on the characters somewhat. There is a surprise throughout the module but I don't want to give away any spoilers. Let's just say that the players may think the action is revolving around them.

Location: Not a Dungeon crawl unless it is insanely good and makes good sense.

Well it is a dungeon crawl but I would certainly consider it insanely good and one that makes sense. There are also some really nifty traps and puzzles in it as well.

Mark (from CreativeMountainGames) has one that he's run successfully at many a gameday, but I can't remember the title. It's got quite a good reputation. It's lowish level, includes wilderness and town RPing, and is certainly not high level. I think it's notorious for killing PCs with bears, for instance... ;)

Whispering Woodwinds. I may even have a copy that I can forward along later tonight.

I came here to suggest The Whispering Woodwind as well.

Please don't forward your copy to anyone, though. That would be, um, illegal, and it would rob Mark of a potential sale. Mark is a good guy, please don't steal from him.

It's only $6.40 at RPG Now.

1) I have thought about checking out the Whispering Wood from CMG and it is still on the possibly list.

2) I am running this for a game day so Wulf's sounds right up the right alley.

3) I would still liike to get my hands on a well done PDF module (call it research). So, does anybody else have any suggestions?

PS - will check out Northern Journey
