Pippi vs the Skunk, Rnd 1

So, the title about says it all. Pippi Squeak is a dog. The Skunk is a skunk. This one may actually have been a draw, because unlike our lab, who goes up to skunks & sniffs their butts, Pippi is a "mountain feist", a squirrel hunting dog. She was going for snuffing, not sniffing.

<sigh>

Not what I needed at bedtime...and we'd just gotten the odor off of the other dog.

My tenant will be soooo thrilled about how her car smells tomorrow....

No kidding. The dog seems to have gotten the least of it. My hands still reek, our driveway is a minefield of scent bombs, and my tenant has to have her engine cleaned.

I need to make a few phone calls and get a live animal trap*. Three times is too much.

*I don't own a gun, and I live in a densely populated residential neighborhood with lots of cats. No shooting, no poison, no kill traps.
