Piratecat, I have succumbed! (Warning: some OSM spoilers)

Ahhhhh. (contented sigh) Ben, you've just made my day. Exactly the reaction I was hoping for. Ladies and Gentlemen, my work here is done.

This just keeps getting better.

Tonite they go out to see the old witch, and since they don't spot her leaving, they go up to the door and knock, and wait.

And wait.

"Can we hear anything inside?"

"Every time you knock you hear an angry cat meowing from inside..."

Players: "AHHHHH! The cats are eating the old lady!"

They hadn't recovered from the horses yet, I guess.

It took them a good 5 minutes just to work up the nerve to boot the door and confront the kitties! Such heroics!

Of Sound Mind is for levels 1-3, easily convertable up to level 6-7.

I am so happy about that!

It would be cool to read a story hour about it, though!

This actually brings up an issue that I'll have to resolve soon. I don't know whether to include the write up in my storyhour (see the sig) because our 4 or 5 established readers would either have spoilers for the adventure or skip a significant portion of the campaign. On the other hand, it would be kind of interesting, because the campaign is already set in a dream, so there would be a kind of "dreams within the Dream" thing going on that would just make my head explode. Heck, I've even considered doing a "dreams within dreams within the Dream" thing. Damn. I think I've had too much coffee this morning.

What I did was create a branch out from my RttToEE storyhour into an OSM storyhour, and I'll link back into RttToEE once OSM completes - that way anyone looking at my storyhour knows up front what it contains spoilers for, and what it is primarily about.

I'd love to read what you do with it!

Cheers

Thanks, that sounds like a good idea (although, truthfully, I'm not sure if anyone who skips that section would really be able to follow the rest of the story hour. I guess that depends on how closely I integrate it with the story arc. Now, if only I could actually get my hands on it...).
