Pirates of the Spanish Main Role Playing Game

I picked it up yesterday! It looks great so far - lots of nice touches to develop a historically-based RPG for the era of pirates. The combat rules look like they will work very nicely with the ships from the collectible card game.

Pinnacle. It uses the Savage Worlds system.

hmmm not that much of a fan of Savage Worlds. Is the book fluff heavy?

Depends on your definition of fluff. I think is a pretty good mix of fluff and crunch - experts of the region and era will probably find it too general - and experts in Savage Worlds might find it repeatitive - but as I fall into neither of those categories I think it appears well done.
