Kickstarter PITCHFORK Extended Just Smashed 200% Funding!

First Post
The war is over. The banners have fallen. But something was left behind.

In PITCHFORK Extended, you play ordinary people – blacksmiths, healers, shepherds – forced to stand against something that should not exist. A creature stitched together from war’s deadliest weapons – a thing of armor, claw, and hunger – has wandered into your home. And no one is coming to save you.

No heroes. No magic swords. Just survival.

PITCHFORK is a folk horror RPG built on a narrative-first system inspired by PbtA, FitD, and minimalist frameworks like Cthulhu Dark. It uses a facet-based mechanic, where the environment itself becomes part of the struggle – deep mud slows your escape, the flickering lantern barely holds back the dark, and the burning barn might be your only chance to stop the monster.

It launched on Kickstarter a few days ago and was fully funded in 25 hours. Yesterday, we just smashed our third stretch goal, reaching over 200% funding, and that means PITCHFORK Extended is now bigger and better than ever. Here’s what we’re delivering so far:
  • 24 pages packed with even more content, mechanics, and survival tools.
  • A heavier, matte-laminated cover for extra durability.
  • More art from Steven De Waele (@stonedrunkwizard), capturing the eerie beauty of the Lower Princedoms.
  • Shadow of Salt – a brand-new printed playset! As a follow-up scenario that takes your villagers beyond their own home, this pamphlet playset takes your PCs traveling to help a neighboring village in need.
But we’re not stopping here. Our next stretch goal expands the game to 32 pages with even more art and content, making PITCHFORK an even deeper, richer experience.

If you love folk horror, low fantasy survival, and narrative-driven RPGs, now is the perfect time to jump in.

Thanks!
