Pixie Artificer Weapon/Implement Issue

My girlfriend created probably her favorite character tonight: A steampunkish Pixie Artificer currently named Sparkplug. The DDI character builder suggested some fun feats, and she jumped at the chance to use a crossbow as an implement.

She's taken both the Crossbow Caster feat and the Eldritch Fuslliade Expertise feat. After buying a +2 Runic Crossbow, she can't equip it in the character builder.

I'm just curious if I'm missing some reason she still isn't able to use it... she has simple ranged weapon proficiency and the Crossbow Caster feat seems pretty straight forward.

There are different types of crossbows. Did she buy one that requires a special proficiency?

Pixies follow the same rules as small characters for wielding weapons and small creatures can't use two-handed weapons unless they have the "Small" property. She should be able to use a hand crossbow though.

[MENTION=53678]Wednesday Boy[/MENTION], exactly the problem we were having. I should have remembered this from my days of playing halflings. Thanks for the update. She loses a die size here (d8 to d6) but at least it's legit now.
