I always found that looks too much like an Easter Island statue. I can hear him just say "Give me gum-gum, dum-dum!"
Btw, seems WotC already planned on introducing Primus earlier into 5E. I found this concept art from Conceptopolis. From 2018, so unlikely to be used now.

I found that too, but it didn't seem up to the usual quality of WotC concept art so I thought it might not be real

Back in 2018, Perkins was laying down some hints about Modrons and Lantan in a future adventure that never materialized (in interviews and the text if Tomb of Annhilation, specifically).

Sure, but what I have generally seen from WotC concept art was better than that Primus. Doesn't mean it is fake, it just made me question its legitimacy.
