Played D&D for the first time today

I played Dungeons and Dragons for the first time today. I've had the PHB since , like, Tuesday, but it feels like i've had it forever.

My game was cool, I participated in a club which meets weekly, and played in a game where orcs are basically trying to take over the world. We made a plan with the townspeople on how we would take on the orcs. Me and another guy hid behind barrels before surprising them with an attack. I managed to take a lot out of a hillgiant. Overall, good fun. Course, the war wages on until Saturday

Overall, top stuff It's such a cool game. The freedom you have is awesome.

Anyways, that's about all I wanted to say.

Welcome aboard...I got introduced to the game at a little store in Texas in 1978..Some of the guys worked at a game company here in the States. I have been an active and avid RPG'r since. One favor I would love to ask of you though...become a ROLE-PLAYER, not just a dice and numbers person...by that I mean, come up with a concept of what you want your character to be, and let the game system fit that. I have always found, that the more personality you give your character, the more fun you have...Again welcome...And you take the high road, and I'll take the low road, and I'll be in Scotland afore ye......
