Played D&D for the first time today

Hey Hey!
Congratulations and welcome to the game. I have been playing for 24+ years and it is always fun to hear about somebody else's first game. Good luck and great gaming.

While I've been playing for 15 years or so, I never got the real thrill of being a new player. I was in 5th grade, and I had no idea what I was doing, and the kids I was with wouldn't really explain to me what I was supposed to do. Then one day, two years later, my mother brought me my uncle's copy of the Basic Set from my grandmothers, and after I figured out what to do, I got some friends from school to play, with me as the DM. We played on my front porch. Man, those were the days... :D

I don't regret my intial experience with D&D, but I sure wish I started playing with someone who knew what they were doing, like yourself. Good to see an enthusiastic new member to the community.

You can do anything you want, throw a ball of flames!
I love you :o

Welcome to the cult... I mean club. :uhoh:
Yeah, no satanic sacrifices going on here...*whistles*

welcome aboard

Been gaming for over 20 years and still remember my first experience. Sat in the basement of the DM's grandmother, kicking in dungeon doors and hacking up bugbears. Ate all the pudding pops in the deep freeze. Got sick as dogs. Good times. :D
