Players: Does anyone else not mind railroading?

I'm going to define "railroading" as :"A process in which the gamemaster of a tabletop RPG has a predefined story for a session, adventure or campaign, and either makes minimal allowance for significant deviation, or makes significant efforts to ensure the players follow the story as planned."

With that definition, my answer is "sure it can be fun!"

When playing, I first check to see if I'm having fun. If that is the case, I don't ponder whether it is sandbox or railroad. I can have fun in both, and for us most adventures tend to contain elements from both styles, mixed up in unholy alliance.
