Player's Guide to Clerics and Druids: Prestige Classes Preview

I imagine you can still storm in a dungeon Force. At least that would be my bet. Btw Incarnate is better than Shifter, IMHO.

Yes, but I take your opinions with a grain of salt, because you are somewhat biased in favor of all things Scarred Lands ;)

If the Stormsinger couldn't use his coolest abilities indoors he could still be a great NPC class.

Which probably just means once again Divine spellcaster prestige classes aren't always the best thing going. But regardless Joe, I'm more interested in the feat for SL druids, Primal, since it supposed to help create druids that aren't all Denevian clones.

Btw Force, yeah I'll admit I'm biased by only enough to see that while shifter can get a lot forms, Incarnate gains more forms, casts spells from Earth, Fire, Air, and Water domains, PLUS still keeps +1 spellcasting per level. Think you'll agree Incarnate in that instance does have a slight edge

None of those are very striking to me either, but I will say this: the prestige classes for the Scarred Lands FIT the world they are made for and I think the prestige classes in SL are the best use of them for any campaign setting in their implementation.

I still don't like PrC cuz they promote too much metagame thinking, but SL at least is doing them, for the most part, correctly... IMO of course. :D

Agreed Earth, at least the part of them doing the idea of Prestige classes being specific for that world. Metagaming though, not sure I'll agree. Everyone meta-games. Trust me it's the nature of the beast.

Well looking over the other Player's Guides, I think it's safe to say people will probably focus more on the arcane factor and/or melee since those seem to have something for each person. Just have to see how Rangers and Rogues turns out. Then finally Monks and Paladins.

I like the fact one of these is called Defender of the Faith. They should have put in a druid PrC called Master of the Wild, tough. :D

There are two kinds of people in the world, those that need more money than they have, and the [*beeep* Offensive Profanity Alert *beeep*]. ;)
