I've already bought it. It's adequate without being inspiring. I think it's the weakest of the 3E/3.5E products released so far (although the pages wasted in F&P on divine stats might cause me to reconsider that opinion in due course).

No, I'm not going to buy it. My group doesn't play in the Forgotten Realms, and I don't think the guide would be very helpful for non FR settings.
Now if it were a new Greyhawk player's Guide...

Couldn't agree more! I've heard vague rumours that Greyhawk may be getting some attention in the near future, but I'm not holding my breath. Though it's still number one on my wish list. And even though I don't play Forgotten Realms, I am going to buy the FRPG. And then that's it. It I tell you! Hear me, WotC?

Well, until the Expanded Psionic Handbook comes out. Oh, and the Complete Divine. Ah...um...and the Planar Handbook and...oh, *$#@!

Don't bet on it. From what I hear, the world of Eberron will be WotC's focus for the foreseeable future. It's "new"! It's "different"! It has "vaguely robotic characters"! What's not to like?!
