Players Handbook II

As it stands, they are poorly written overall, unclear and/or vague on many issues, ugly (to me), hard to read because of poor layout, and full of errors. It's quite obvious that WOTC has done a infinitely better job with presenting the d20 system with more recent books like the SWRCRB, CoC, and WoT (though they are still bland and read like a college textbook)

As it is now, I use WoT for general rules reference because I cannot stand looking through the 3E PHB.

Comic book guy voice? Is that supposed to be a "cut" of some sort?

Please explain...

Simpsons reference. Whenever I catch myself dissing a product categorically, as in "I hate X completely and utterly forever and ever", especially with big words, that's the ol' Comic Book Guy talking.

As in "worst episode ever".

Ah, I see...I think....

I do like d20 and 3E..I just feel the flagship products (3E core books) were poorly done (especially the PHB and MM)...The latest D20 and 3E (e.g. FRCS, MotP, CoC, WoT,SWRCRB, etc) books are much better, and I was saying *I* would be happy to pay for a revised version of the PHB that brought it up to the standards of those later books...my 3E PHB binding is already toast and falling apart, so I'm in the market....

I apologize if I came off as a "d20/3E hater".

I am from Queensland in Australia so I suppose I have to support XXXX beer. Have any of you had that beer?

If you wan't a classless game try Rune Quest for a while. It made a nice change from AD&D 2nd ed.

**** CONFIDENTIAL SCOOP FROM A DEEPTHROAT SOURCE ****

Ok, I am going to break a few rules here...

- Those of you who were wanting a "reprinting" of all those splatbook feats in one *albeit pricey* book...

You are getting your wish; to an extent.

Those feats necessary to Epic feats WILL be reprinted.

- Elminster et all will be getting re-written using ELH rules; although wether or not this will be as a Web Enhancement or actually printed in the ELH itself is "neither confirmed nor denied". Good ol Ellie is getting... well - something He long Deserved.

- Information concerning the likes of integrating Deities and Demigods with the ELH will also be included...

That is all at present -

Yeash. And what's that with Aussies. Don't they like sarcasm?
No, we're very sarcastic. Your accent probably hid the necessary intonation to signal it, though.
I can remember being sarcastic around Aussies and then often having them seriously explaing why my suggestion would be a bad idea. I mean like obviously sarcastic.
I'd also assume that sarcasm intonations, like accents, sometimes differs across borders. It's possible that they were expecting more subtle sarcasm, so took what you thought of as obvious sarcasm as too blatant to be sarcasm, and therefore interpreted it literally.
Maybe they just believe that anybody not from their continent are maniacs.
Yeah, that's it for sure... ;)
