I've been playing Diablo for two days now. Day one was full of problems, then server had issues and when you logged out (in my case) I coudn't log in again. Yesterday tecnical side was fine.

I've been playing way too much now, and taking break. Nice game, though plotwise it remains me more of dragon age original more than diablo. Fun game, but somehow, it feels different universe and chapters are much longer than diablo 2. I don't think I will end up playing this so much besides 9 characters is limit for one account.

Packspace costs 10000/14 slots. Wherein 2 slots takes most items. There is also crafting which is so-and-so (good for alts little like wow), less important because it's expensive to level and you and items drop easily. Money isn't all that hard to come by though. There is also repair costs than get pretty high if you die a lot. But those start hitting you at later side of chapter 1. So bit too much money money money grindiness. Clicking mobs dead is still fun though. 7.8/10 for me.

Game came early, do like living in a city with an Amazon hub.

Slow to install.
Playing solo, about 6 hours in -- no issues to report.
Cool looking game, does have a different look than Diablo 2 and reminds me of The Witcher 1, with better graphics.
Game play so far fun but nothing to excite me, standard hack and slash.
The Forge just opened up to me and starting to put money into it.

The atmosphere and music holds true to the Diablo standard, I love it and sometimes get that creepy feeling with the scenes and music come together.

The scenes and battle grounds have a great sense of depth and perspective to them. You feel like you are on a bridge over a chasm.

Barbarian makes great Hulk, smash character. I have had great success with using my ground stomp stun power and whacking away until unstunned, dancing around and stunning again etc. for the BBGs, and adding runes for effectiveness to my cleave and wading through armies of minions.

Act I is great, flavorful, etc., but even on Normal setting the difficulty ramps up in Act II. Don't play mindless click click in Act II. (some say you can "faceroll" the entire game on Normal, but I don't agree, I found some tricky spots I had to use tactics and switch powers.)

Monk has a lot of flavor and class, only level 4. Wizard is great for ranged, but in trouble if you get swarmed at low levels.

My Barb and a friend's wizard @level 15 made a great combo. When my stun wore off, he would freeze it. But the play was such that timing was important, it was not an easy setup and not an I win button...but the tactics helped.

I wanted a separate banner for each character, sadly the design is per account.

I don't like mandatory internet connection for a single player game, but other than day one, it has not affected me. And having a friend "jump" in was cool.

We killed an end boss together, but later when I went back to solo mode, I still had to kill that mob to progress, parts of this are confusing to me so be careful what games you join/leave with your main solo person.

Finally, the way the heads roll and bounce down the hall when you whack the basket of sacrificial heads is too cool/freaky!

Haven't watched any promo videos or read a thing about how this game is supposed to play. Just a few weeks ago I finally got round to ACTUALLY finishing D2. This is such a leap in graphics that it feels entirely different. I started a Monk on normal just to be able to jump in (not much time at all to play yet... maybe this weekend) and I get the sense that just learning as I go isn't going to get me very far. Haven't even felt really threatened by anything yet and I have no clue what if any real strategy there is involved in improving the skills. I'm sure I will be restarting a LOT as I learn. Actually feels a little too easy and I'm already thinking I should bump the difficulty and start over even though I've only reached lvl 3 or 4.

Actually, it is we, the GenXers, who started things like Character Limits.

Having to be online at all times to play a video game seems exquisitely. If either Blizzard or my ISP goes down, so much for my gaming plans for that night.

Having said that, I'm curious about co-op. Is it drop-in, drop-out (i.e. the single-player campaign isn't separate from the multiplayer experience)?
