Playstation like controller for PC?

I've got my eyes on a few videogames that would benefit from this and am curious if there are any (like the PS1 or PS2) controller that are available.

All help is appreciated.

Hm. I think that, if you have a console controller, you can get a [thingy] to USB converter, and just use that. Maybe some of them can even plug straight in.

But I'm not sure.

Otherwise, there are a bunch (more like a ton) of controllers available just for PC, but I've no idea which ones are best, sorry.

Looks pretty good to me. I use a Logitech mouse and keyboard, and they're among the best in any price bracket I'm willing to even look at. So yeah, wouldn't be too surprised if their controllers are equally good.

Are you looking for a PS controller specifically? A standard, right out the box Xbox 360 controller actually has just a USB plug, and can fit into a computer.

I have an original X-Box and I can tell you from experience that I really don't care for the controller set-up.

No problem. Wasn't sure how close to PS Controller, "Playstation like" meant. I guess you're looking for more "Playstation exact".

For what it's worth Xbox 360 controllers are a world apart from those old mammoth of a controller original Xbox had.

Check out ebay. For a whopping $4 I got an USB-converter that supports both the Playstation and the Nintendo 64 controller. It works really well, at least the N64 (I haven't tried the PS port).

I've had some great time with this converter, playing Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64 etc.

You can buy a cheap USB adapter that lets you use an actual PS2 controller. I've had one for years, and it's great.
