We just had a session on friday and my monk died... Nonetheless, I am sure I will put this info to good use when I will play another monk at some point in the future. In this campaign, my next character is a fighter.
Upgrade to Shuriken 3.5.
Clear it with your DM--shuriken work VERY differently in 3.5! They deal 1d2 damage PLUS YOUR STR BONUS, they no longer fire in threes but instead are 'monk weapons' and therefore flurry-able, and they're treated like ammunition for the purposes of crafting them (magic abilities affect 50 of them) and for what happens after they're thrown (magic abilities disappear, it's gone on a hit, 50% loss chance on misses).
