It was about 4-6 months ago (a little after Christmas, I think). I was perusing the new releases shelf at my FLGS and I saw a third party d20 publisher had released a hardback compendium of SRD spells as well as open content spells from other publishers. The cover contained a little announcement that the book only cost $19.95. At the time, I thought that seemed like a pretty good deal for a compilation of OGL spells. My exact thought at the time was, "Oh, a poor man's Spell Compendium" (because WotC had just released that book). But then I never saw this hardcover again after that.
I've asked the people that work at the FLGS and none of them can seem to remember this product. And so far all of my online searches have come up empty. And so now I'm desperate to discover if this thing really ever existed or if I am just going crazy.
Can someone help? What was the title of this poor man's spell compendium and who was the publisher?
