If Dirty Fighting has Extra Turning as a prereq, I bet it would get a 1 also.

Dirty Fighting is a weak but useful feat for characters with BAB 5 or less.

And its a decent npc feat for certain circumstances.

One question - in a pre-epic campaign, should the text from the DMG : "Magic armor bonuses are referred to as enhancement bonuses, and never rise above +5" not still apply?

So someone with a 28 Cha should get a +5 shield that lasts for 9 rounds, not a +9 shield?

Re: Divine shield. Should these bonuses only apply to combat when facing undead? I don't see the relevence of the Turning ability as a prerequisite (unless it is PURELY for a way of limiting the amount of times the feat can be used per day.)

You're channelling positive energy, and putting it to a different use.

They give examples in the PHB of using positive energy (via a turn attempt) to open special portals, etc. The feat allows you to use that positive energy to make your shield a super-weapon for a brief period of time :)
