Bards actually have the lowest spell/day (and therefore are the "best" candidates for this class) and as another thread illustrated, bards dont always know what to pick for their feats. I rated it average since I find it pretty useful for a bard and mediocore for a wizard, but downright bad for a sorceror.

Although I agree the slot should migrate to always be 1 level lower than your highest level slot (therefore it is not any more or less useful based on when you take it).

A weak 1. Even bards have better things to do with their feats. How many polls to go, smetzger?

There are surely more than 200 feats out there. As interpretations of existing feats change so would their ratings. It seems that more that a few feats have varying interpretations and plenty have house rules. There is a web site with feat voting on it but its poorly done. If someone had feats on a 1-10 scale and put all the official feats out there and if there were two interpretations have those voted on separately it would be very popular to be sure. Sorting feats by type and whatnot would be the ultimate resource for players and dms.

There is a near infinite variety of the "pick 2 of the following", +1 to a single save, +2 to a skill or +1 to initiative. I think that is the most mechanical and least interesting of any feat but a lot of people take it. I've said before we don't need to vote on it. The pick 2 feat can be taken multiple times within reason which varies by DM.

For a wizard, this is pretty secondary, but think about when you get to cast 8th level spells - you get an EXTRA 7th level spell...per day. oh yeah. just when you thought the sorcerer was a fire slinging hot shot, here comes the next king of casting.
