What do you think of polls that ask you to rate feats?

  • They're very useful. I need to know if these feats are balanced.

I'm interested in seeing what other people think of feats. I have them all clearly rated in my mind and I like to laugh at people who get them totally wrong. There is a website that has feats rated from 1-5 but its full of crazy homebrew feats mixed in with regular feats.

Well, I like 'em... just don't go there if you don't. It's like a book; if you don't want to read it, well, nobody's making you.

I also find it interesting to read peoples' opinions and experiences with them. A lot of them are feats that nobody's used in my game and that I haven't used myself, and it's interesting to see what kind of issues have come up with them in other campaigns.

Although such a poll can't tell wheter a feat is balanced or not in your own campaign, I like to read other people's comments and reasons why they think something is balanced/unbalanced.
If you don't like them, those polls are easy to awoid, so what's your problem Vaxalon? ;)

I think they're great. And noone forces you to participate (I experience that so often: people complaining about possibilities, like Dwarven Paladins, like they must not do it).

The point rating is not always ideal, but the opinions on the posts below are great, plus people often point out stuff that can make the feat worthwile (or unbalancing). It's a little like playtesting: many people use the feat and tell of their experiences. That can be a great helper in deciding about that feat.

You tired of them? Then don't click on them. They're clearly marked and relatively infrequent; it's not too tough to avoid them.

Incidentally, off topic polls are not allowed. I'll close this.
