One thing that I wonder about is why they added the +2 BAB minimum. With three feats as a prerequisite, do they really need to put that it there? The only reason I can think of is that they really didn't want sorcerers and wizards to have it at 3rd level.

This can't be the reason - even without the BAB requirement, there is no way for a wizard or sorc to get it at third level, not even by multiclassing. In fact, I can't think of a way for any character to get all three prerequisite feats, much less another feat slot to actually take Remain Conscious, without also meeting the BAB requirement. [1] Remember, none of these feats (not even Toughness, contrary to popular belief) can be taken as fighter bonus feats.

[1] Actually there is one way - multiclassing just the first levels of a stupid number of classes with 0 BAB at first level. In practice, no-one does this, and it's house ruled out of existence in many campaigns anyway, either by restricting multiclassing so it can't happen or by having players use the underlying math instead of just following the charts to determine BAB.

Huh? What is this a list of, exactly? I can't make heads or tails of this.

I think its a list of the feats he did this for and where they ranked overall, so for example no feat has rnaked no one should take this feat, or everyone should take this feat.(1 and 10 respecitvely)

I have to say I am suprised Eagle Claw rated a 2, considering that it does nothing.

I guess I am just a little more strict with the feats I pick. ;)

It only takes a few yahoos that don't read the description of a feat to make it rate a 2 or a 3 when it really does nothing.

If you extend the negative range that you can survive to equal your level then it becomes vaguely better because at -19 you could still cast heal on yourself.

Correct, for example Eagle Claw had an average rating of 2, while Power Lunge had an average rating of 4.
