Please rate the Elemental Savant

I played one of thease once...he was acualy I shamefacedly admit(since it was only a few months ago) the first character I got to play for a meaningful length of time. He was a grey-elf wizard/air elemental savant. Pretty nast. Tell me what you guys think of the class.

The major problem I have with the Elemental Savant, is that it seems thematically to be a perfect class for sorcerers. Unfortunately, since sorcerers get Knowledge: Arcana, and no other Knowledges as a class skill, it makes it next to impossible to qualify at a decent level.

I hope sincerly that sorcerers get included in the giving more classes more knowledge skills thing they talked about for the revision.
Barring that, theres Education or Cosmopolitan feats.
Or better yet, house rule the sucker

Elemental Savant is my favorite PrC *EVER.* I had a human go the fire route a few months back. Right now I'm starting a Gray Elf at 4th whos going the Air/Electricity route. Can't wait until I get that sucker to 10th in savant and get a fly speed

Keep me updated on that, thats exactly what I played. got him up to 15 total. He was great fun. at like 14th CL I took a guy who was casting 9th level spells and killed him...twice(he had a crazy teleporting clone spell). Of course, I had a little help from Drendari the scarred lands shadows/rogue goddess. She took a liking to me for some odd reason.

Whoa . . . I played one of those, too! She was a Sorcerer (our GM lets Sorcs get all Knowledge skills, like Wizards) 6 / AES 3, and was nasty with her lightning spells.

Seeing as you don't have that many posts, Smetzger already has these lines going. If you are going to do the same, I would suggest at least getting the same ranking system so that everything can be compiled.
